Stage 2 - Weissenhäuser Strand to Grömitz

After our breakfast buffet at the Möwenpick restaurant, we saddled up our bikes and set off for Grömitz. After a quick check of the bikes, everything was in order. The tire pressure was constant, the spokes were tight, so everything looked good. The route initially took us along several roads, but also through nature. After 14 kilometers, we had another view of the Baltic Sea. Today's rides were like a bit of a roller coaster ride, as there were always short uphill stretches after each descent. The route continued through Heiligenhafen and later past a small, lovingly decorated lemonade stand. Here, two young girls had set up a stand selling chilled, homemade lemonade with lavender, peppermint, and honey. With so much love, we simply couldn't pass by and were happy to help supplement the couple's pocket money.
In Dahme, Uwe and Philipp enjoyed the traditional fish sandwich. Linda, on the other hand, opted for a chicken baguette. The cold beer was a welcome refreshment for us. Another sight was the old and new lighthouse in Dahmeshöved. After about 60 kilometers, we reached our destination for today, Grömitz.
In Grömitz, the Hotel Krähenberg is supporting us with an overnight stay. After our day, we treated ourselves to a relaxing spa treatment. We'll be served meals on the palm-tree terrace of the Strandhalle Grömitz restaurant. Thank you very much for this generous support.
