Arrival in Kiel - Heart Tour 2025

The time has finally come! The Heart Tour is starting again. Today Linda, Philipp and Uwe traveled by train to Kiel and arrived at their destination on time. Linda & Philipp started yesterday so that the train connection would be a bit more punctual. So a big thank you to The Ritz Carlton in Berlin for the spontaneous, free overnight stay and support for our project, especially to Nadine Ruzanji. Whether we should really sit together on the train from Hamburg to Kiel remained open, as Uwe's train was getting more and more delayed. It takes some time to get from platform 12 to platform 7 in Hamburg, so 9 minutes was very tight. For this reason, Philipp, who was already there, set off to pick Uwe up from the train and show him the way. We once again resorted to our escalator surfing skills, and to make the train to Kiel, Philipp carried Uwe's bike down the stairs. The effort and exertion were worth it, because in the end, the three of us sat on the train from Hamburg to Kiel and, despite all the circumstances, arrived at our destination on time.

Our overnight stay today is sponsored by the Ghotel KielThank you very much for this, because every euro we don't have to spend on additional accommodation or meals increases our donation total.

For a full stomach, the Block House in Kiel. A big thank you goes out to Ms. Engelbart. Please stop by and see them when you're in Kiel. It will be awithout. Shortly before we were about to leave the hotel for the restaurant, we noticed that Linda had a flat tire on her rear wheel. Uwe and Philipp then changed the tube. Thanks to our sponsor Schwalbe, we're well-equipped. What's strange, though, is that the tube only lost air and was not damaged in any way. We'll continue to monitor developments and keep you updated.

In the evening, we explored the city a bit. Our first stop, Weissenhäuser Strand, will begin tomorrow morning.
