Stage 4 - Travemünde to Wismar

Today's stage began with a short ferry crossing across the Trave River to Priwall. Since today, with 28 degrees Celsius, was the warmest day of the tour (at least according to the weather forecast), we focused on "racking up the miles." We reached our halfway point in Boltenhagen. Today we are back in eastern Germany. Upon arriving in Wismar, we fortified ourselves with a light meal at a fisherman's hut. Philipp had an organ playing appointment today. He drove to a church and, as agreed, informed the church staff that he was there to play the organ. He was then given the keys and had a blast playing the old organ. The feedback from the visitors was quite positive. A little later, another church employee, who worked in the church office and had forwarded Philipp's emails, approached him. She told him that he had requested St. Nicholas Church, which is a few meters away. This was a small misunderstanding. Philipp was, so to speak, in the wrong church. Of course, he also took the second organ with him, thus adding two new organs to his list.

Today's overnight stay is sponsored by the ParkInn by Radisson Hotel, and we were served meals at the Seeperle Wismar. Thank you very much for this wonderful support!

Tomorrow we'll be heading to Warnemünde and visiting our partner organization, the Association for the Promotion of Children with Cancer in Rostock. We're already looking forward to it.
