You may hardly believe it, but this is already the last blog entry of the Herzenstour 2024. And of course, we'll make it as detailed as you've come to expect from us.

After breakfast in Halle, we saddled up our bikes, having already planned the first leg of the route yesterday. After 22 kilometers, we reached Lake Raßnitz, where we could cool off.

At 1:15 p.m., we arrived on Philip-Rosenthal-Straße in Leipzig, where we were greeted by Kristina Paarmann and Sören Uhle from the association "Parents' Support for Children with Cancer in Leipzig" and employees of Spardabank Berlin eG. Spardabank Berlin eG had already supported us in the 2023 Herzenstour and is by our side again this year. We are delighted that the bank is once again supporting our partner organization with 5,000 euros. Linda and Uwe also gave an interview to Rocky Sauer, social media manager of Spardabank Berlin eG.

Afterwards, we spent some time with the association and refreshed ourselves with cold drinks. We talked about our heartfelt project and the many experiences we had during the Herzenstour 2024. We were shown around the facilities and chatted casually. It's always wonderful to share the many wonderful experiences with other people. Be it the pleasant encounters along the bike path or the helpfulness of the restaurants and hotels that supported us year after year.

Today we would like to thank The Westin Hotel for the free overnight stay and the Auerbachs Keller Restaurant for providing us cyclists with food.

A very special thank you today also goes to all the people who supported our heartfelt tour with a donation, shared our posts on Facebook or Instagram, and enthusiastically shared our excitement. Thank you for following our blog.
